It's good to be a priest ... A site

On 14 December I had the joy of being ordained a priest for the Diocese of Montreal. I thank everyone who came that night. Nearly 750 people attended including over 75 priests, one of vingaine fellow seminarians and many parishioners of Cote-des-Neiges and Mount Royal, family members and many friends. The ceremony presided by His Eminence Jean-Claude Turcotte was great. I also thank everyone who prayed for me throughout my journey vocationnel.Je invite you to pray for all seminarians and deacons who are preparing to respond as to the appeal. Within a few days I will write various "posts" about my early days as a priest. For now, I just send you my word of thanks published in the sheet of participation.

I thank Cardinal Jean-Claude Turcotte and all my brother priests, deacons and seminarians. A special thanks to those who came from other dioceses to show their priestly fraternity and those who collaborated in the ceremony. Thank you to two masters of ceremonies: the abbots Thomas Dowd and Stephen Otvos. Thank you to Father Christian Lepine, my spiritual guide. Thank you to the directors and staff, rectors, professors and resident priests who accompanied me during these years at the Grand Seminary of Montreal. Thanks to all my friends religious make such a beautiful testimony of faith and fidelity. Thank you also to fathers and brothers of various religious communities. A special thank you to members of the Fraternity, Community St-Jean, Benedictine Oblate Sisters of Bethany, Carmelites and Chartreuses Chertsey. Thank you to the many monks and nuns who support vocations through prayer and fasting. Your prayers bear fruit.

A Big Thanks to the pastoral staff, parishioners, churchwardens and staff of St. Gertrude and St. Vincent (not to mention those of my first internship locations: Notre-Dame-des-Neiges, St-Pascal- Baylon and St-Joseph-de-Mont-Royal) for their friendship, their fraternal support and prayer. Thank you to those who have received over the years in various pastoral scene insertion. Thank you to the Knights of Columbus. Thank you to all parishioners involved in organizing this ordination, suppliers of our buffet, reflecting the cultural richness of Montreal North.
